Roulette was made famous in Monte Carlo. Nicknamed “The Big Wheel”
Originally a French game, it is played extensively throughout the world. Roulette chips are of various colours to differentiate each of the players chips. Each spin of the wheel is a new game when players may place chips on the Roulette table. There are different ways to place a chip and you can place as many in one game as you want.

You can bet on any particular number, any combination of numbers, color of numbers as black or red, even or odd as the outcome of a spin. European roulette supports simple rules and regulations. The house edge is lower than American Roulette. The chance of the ball landing on any of the pockets is 1 to 36.
Roulette table comprises of outside and inside betting fields. These fields help you in placing your outside or inside bets. There are maximum and minimum table limits of each roulette table. You are free to make your choice of bet. However, you cannot change your bets after spinning of the roulette wheel
.

Inside Bets

Your  inside bets should total to the minimum table amount of the roulette table. Zero lies within the inside bet square. There are different choices and combinations of such inside bets. Straight up bet is a bet on a single number with a payout of 35 to 1. Split bet allows you to bet on two adjacent squares or pockets. The payoff is 17 to 1.

Street bet allows you to bet on a particular row of three numbers. This offers payoff of 11 to 1. Line bet helps you place two street bets. Hence, you bet on six numbers and therefore, your payoff is 5 to 1. Corner bet is to bet on any of the four adjacent squares. This provides a payoff of 8 to 1.

Outside Bets

A
s zero lies within the inside bet square, it does not figure in the outside betting area. Outside bets should total the minimum betting amounts. Outside bets comprise different situations. Dozens bet engulfs three squares from combinations of 1 to 12, 13 to 24, and 25 to 36. Payoff is 2 to 1.

High and Low bet cover two squares of the bottom half of numbers with a 1 to 1 payout. Numbers could be between 1 to 18 and 19 to 35. Odd and even bets offer payoff of 1 to 1 and you have to predict even or odd numbers as the outcome of a spin. Similarly, color bets are for black or red outcomes with1 to one payoff.

One of the most popular card games in the world is “Blackjack” or “21”
The object of the game is to have the total point value of the cards dealt to you to exceed the point value of the dealers hand without going over 21. If you draw cards that total more than 21 your hand is “busted” and you automatically lose.

A score of 21 achieved in two cards is a “Natural” or “Blackjack” and receives a payment of 3 to 2. If the dealer gets “Blackjack” also, then it is a push or draw. You retain your bet but do not receive a payment. This also applies in all ties.

All cards have their face value.

Picture cards count as 10.

The Ace is either 1 or 11, the choice is up to the player.

To play you must place a wager in the marked box.

You will then receive two cards. At this point you can either:-

a) “Stand”

b) Continue to draw.

Splitting
Pairs of cards can be split. Another bet equal to that of the original bet has to be wagered. If you score “Blackjack” on a split this only counts as 21. Split aces only receive one more card each.

Doubling
If your first two cards total 9, 10 or 11 you may double your original bet and draw one more card.

Casino Stud Poker
  • – The cards are first well shuffled and cut
.
Then each player places an initial wager in the betting space marked Ante. Next they have the option of making a progressive jackpot bet by depositing a token onto the place located on the layout (players win all or part of the jackpot with hands of Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House or Flush). Each player starting from the dealer’s left is dealt five cards face down to each betting position, including the dealer. The dealer turns up one card of his or her hand.
The players have to then review their own hand and have the option to “fold” or play (“call the dealer”). Players who fold lose their Ante wagers. Players deciding to play must place a wager equal to twice the amount of their Ante wager in the space marked “Bet.” After all the players have made their decisions, the dealer reveals his or her four cards. If the dealer’s hand does not contain ace-King or higher card value, the dealer pays all Ante wagers even money and returns all Bet wagers to the players.

If the dealer’s hand contains an ace-King or higher card count, it is compared individually with each player’s hand starting with the player on the dealer’s extreme right and proceeding around the table. If the dealer’s hand is higher than the player’s hand, the player’s Ante and Bet wagers are collected by the dealer, along with the player’s cards. If the player’s hand is higher than the dealer’s hand the player’s Ante wager is paid at even money and the player’s Bet wager is paid according to the odds schedule

How to Play Three Card Poker?

Three Card Poker, invented by Derek Webb in 1994, is the Poker version most people play when they head to their Casino.

Three Card Poker isn't played against other players. Instead, you play against the dealer.

You only have to be concerned with what your cards are and what the house's cards are. Making a mistake only punishes you and not your fellow players like at some other card game tables.

OK – so you want to try Three Card Poker? Good choice!

Here are the basics.

  • Three Card Poker Bets

In Three Card Poker game, the player makes an ante bet.

The dealer gives each player and themselves three cards. The dealer's cards are face down and you can only examine your own cards.

If you’ve made the ante bet then you must either fold or call.

Folding forfeits your ante wager, calling (raising) means you must make an additional play bet that is equal to your ante.

The dealer then turns over their cards.

  • Three Card Poker Outcomes

The dealer needs a queen-high or better to qualify:

if the dealer doesn't qualify, you win even money on the ante bet and play bet is a push

if the dealer qualifies, your hand is compared to the dealer's hand and the best hand wins.

  • Whose hand is better?

If it is yours, congrats! You win even money on the ante and play bets.

If the dealer has a better hand, both your ante and play bets lose.

If it is a tie, then both the ante and play bets are a push.

  • But that’s not all.

If you have a straight or better, you receive an ante bonus regardless of the value of the dealer's hand.

If you have placed a pair plus bet, it is paid based on the value of your hand. This pays out differently depending on where you play.

How to Win at Three Card Poker: The Strategy

Three Card Poker has a relatively small house edge, usually around 3.3 percent. If you play optimally, that is.

This edge can increase significantly with side bets or incorrect strategy.

To avoid this, follow a couple of simple Three Card Poker strategy tips:

1. Don’t Make The Pair Plus Bets

Betting on the pair plus increases the house edge by more than 2.3 percent.

It is tempting with big payouts (e.g. straight flush pays 40 to 1) but you’re bound to lose more making this bet even if you have a rare bigger payout from it.

So, forget about the times you could have won a big payout when you've not placed a pair plus bet. Simply try to play in a way that minimizes the house edge.

2. Remember One Strategic Combination of Cards

It’s not only the Three Card Poker rules that are easy to learn. So is the Three Card Poker strategy.

You only need to remember one combination of cards and base your decision to call or fold on it:

  • Call with  or higher hand
  • Fold everything else

See, I’ve told you it was simple.

Because of it, you will find this game in a more relaxed setting as it’s pretty easy to avoid mistakes and nobody is worried about making mistakes that affect other players

The beginning

When playing Texas Hold'Em poker, every player is dealt two cards face down – these are called your 'hole cards'. Then there is a round of betting where you can Check, Bet or Fold. This stage of the game is known as pre-flop and what you should do is dependent on those hole cards, or starting hand.
When all the betting has finished three shared cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table. This is called the flop..

The middle

After this there is another round of betting, then a fourth shared card – called the turn – is dealt.

There is another round of betting then a final shared card – called the river – and a final round of betting.

Your best Texas Holdem hands will be made by using your hole cards and the five cards in the middle to make the best possible five card poker hand. Not sure what the best Texas Holdem poker hands are? You can visit the poker hand rankings page for more information!

So, for example, if you have 9-9 and the shared cards are 9-9-A-5-2 you have four-of-a-kind. If the shared cards were J-Q-K-7-2 you would only have two nines.

Sometimes the best Texas hold em hand is made by the five shared cards on their own. If they were 10-10-10-10-A and you had 9-9 your hole cards would not play as there is a four-of-a-kind of higher value already showing.

The end

There are two ways a hand can end.
One is when the players in a hand turn over their hole cards and the player with the best hand wins. This is known as a showdown.
The other is that someone will bet enough that everyone else folds. This is how most hands end in Texas Hold'em and that's the magic of the game – you don't always need the best hand to win.

Now let's recap...
Okay, let's go over how a Texas Holdem poker hand works using only poker slang and see if you can keep up.

Firstly, you are dealt your hole cards. Then there is a round of betting. Then the players remaining see a flop. Then there is another round of betting. Then you see a turn card. Then another round of betting. Then a final river card. Then one more round of betting. The best five card hand wins. Clear? Excellent.
